<p>PURPOSE:To enable identification of a target approaching at a speed higher than a set value simultaneously with detection of target signals by generating a high speed target detection signal when the difference between signal distance measured values is larger than a distance corresponding to the set speed. CONSTITUTION:Target signals received by an antenna 1 are passed to a receiver 2 and converted into digital values by an A/D converter 3 and long pulses are switched by a switching circuit 4 to a video integrator 6a through a pulse compressor 5 and short pulses are switched directly to an integrator 6b. The distance to a target is calculated by first and second range finders 8a, 8b and input to a comparator 9. Then the circuit 4 performs switching action in response to a switching signal that a modulation signal generator 16 generates when half of the dwell time elapses. A transmitter 15 thus feeds to the antenna 1 transmission signals which are modulated from a frequency modulation signal for the long pulse of the first half of the dwell time from the generator 16 and an amplitude modulation signal for the short pulse of the second half of the dwell time. The comparator 9 generates a high speed target detection signal according to conditions.</p> |
