<p>The measuring device uses a control plate (1) which is transparent to X-rays, carrying non-transparent length indication markings (3,4) parallel to the longitudinal axis of the control plate and a non-transparent control strip (2) at right angles to the length indication markings. Pref. the control plate is made of plastics with an integral handgrip, the length indication markings (3) and the control strip provided by orthogonal metal wires, with auxiliary pivot markings providing length indication symbols. USE - For measuring size of fractured bone to allow correct size fracture pin to be selected.</p>
