<p>PURPOSE: To actually measure the width of the jaw bone before and during operation at the time of implantation of a dental implant. CONSTITUTION: An arm 3 of a type integral with a cursor for measurement is mounted at a scale 1 of a type integral with the arm having a moving type scale 4. A disposable injection needle is mountable at the front end 2 of the arm. The moving distance of the cursor indicates the bone width when the injection needle is not mounted. Zero point calibration is executed by using the moving type scale 4 and thereafter, the bone width is measured at the time of mounting the injection needle.</p> |
