PURPOSE: To provide an LCD panel inspecting device which automate visual inspection which is carried out while a polarizing plate A is rotated. CONSTITUTION: In addition to a polarizing plate A11, the device is provided with a polarizing plate C19 which has its angle of polarization adjusted to an angle suitable to unevenness detection, and provided with a mechanism which replaces the polarizing plate A11 polarizing plate C19 with each other and a polarizing plate driving part 21 which drives the replacement. Further, a rotating mechanism is provided for the polarizing plate C19 and the angle of polarization is controlled to detect unevenness appearing clearly at angles except a specific angle of polarization. Further, plural angles at which the unevenness detection can be performed are specified and plural polarizing plates which have the respective angles of polarization are provided in addition to the polarizing plate C19, and the device may be provided with a mechanism for replacing them and a driving part which drives the replacement. |
