<p>PURPOSE: To warn of recording capacity of a remaining tape, to stop recording of a failure image and to improve convenience of a tape by setting a tape pre-end and a recording pre-end in two places in the direction of a tape top from a tape end of a magnetic tape and recording retrieval information on them. CONSTITUTION: The tape pre-end is set in an area before 3-7 minutes in the direction of the tape top from the tape end of the magnetic tape, and further, the new recording pre-end is set in the area before several seconds to several minutes in the direction of the tape top from the tape end. When the recording pre-end area is detected in a recorder 60, the matter that the remaining recording capacity is little is warned, and when the tape pre-end area is detected succeedingly to the recording pre-end area, the recording is stopped, and such a failure as that only until the part of one picture is recorded is evaded.</p> |
