摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject fiber good in dispersibility in water, capable of papermaking mixed with pulp, and highly adhesive to pulp, and to obtain paper by subjecting the fiber to papermaking process. SOLUTION: This thermoadhesive fiber is an elastomer fiber consisting of a polyether-polyester block copolymer having the characteristics (1)-(5) described below, and has the following characteristics: single fiber fineness: 0.5-10 denier, denier fiber length: 2-30mm, and the pickup of a polyether-polyester-based block copolymer as a water dispersibility promoter on the fiber surface: 0.02-5.0wt.%: (1) the main constituent polyether (A) of the soft segment is polytetramethylene glycol 400-5000 in average molecular weight; (2) the constituent polyester (B) of the hard segment is composed of (a) 40-100mol% terephthalic acid and 0-60mol% isophthalic acid as the main acid components and (b) 1,4-butanediol as the main diol component; (3) the weight ratio A/B is (5:95) to (80:20); (4) intrinsic viscosity is 0.6-1.7; and (5) melting point is 100-220 deg.C.</p>
