PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a trim device for an outboard engine that makes it possible to perform trimming operation using a small clamp bracket without extending the rear surface of the clamp bracket, which can be applied to a large propelling unit. SOLUTION: The trim device for outboard engine is provided with a first bracket 3 fixed to a ship body, a second bracket 5 pivotally supported by the first bracket 3 via a tilt axis 4 which can rotate in the vertical direction, and a propelling unit installed to the second bracket 5 to be movable in the horizontal direction. A rear surface 3a of the first bracket 3 is hung near the vertical line so as to form a lateral pressure reception surface 24 where the first bracket 3 abuts against the second bracket 5 in the lateral direction during maximum trim up. |
