<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the generation of noise with the operation for turning a steering wheel by moving a cancel cam to a position capable of preventing the engagement of a projection thereof with a lock member while operating a steering wheel so as to be turned while exceeding the predetermined angle from the initial position. SOLUTION: In the case where the operation for turning a steering wheel 1 is continued, each engagement part 34 of cancel cams 12a, 12b slides in a groove part 36 of a cylindrical body 37 provided in the periphery of a shaft 35. A projection 33 is moved upward so as to be separated from an abutment part of a lock member along a slit 39 of a guide cylinder part 38 to be rotated with the shaft 35. Consequently, even if the other cancel cam 12b is moved near the lock member, interference of the projection 33 with the abutment part of the lock member is prevented, and generation of noise is prevented.</p> |
