<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor driven golf cart which may be occasionally charged in a source under play by a power generating and charging device mounted on the golf cart. SOLUTION: Whether or not the golf cart is under traveling is decided and if the golf cart is under traveling, the magnitude of discharging current (discharging quantity) is decided. If the discharge current is large, an engine for driving a generator is started (on). When the engine is decided to be started, the magnitude of the discharging current (discharging quantity) is decided, and if the discharging current is small, judgment is made that the charging disquantity is small and that the replenishing charging is no more needed. The engine for driving the generator is then stopped (off).</p> |
