PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a granular material transported by air stream from flying to the outside of a container when the material is accommodated in the container. SOLUTION: This automatic rice washing apparatus is provided with a rice storage tank 1 for storing rice, a weighing device 2 for weighing and feeding out the rice in the rice storage tank 1, a rice washing tank 3 for washing the weighed rice, and a transport apparatus 5 for transporting the weighed rice to a rice cooker 4. The transport apparatus 5 is equipped with a blower 38 and a rice discharge pipe 8 that transports rice from the rice washing tank 3 to the rice cooker 4 by the blower 38. A cyclone pipe 48 having an axis orthogonal to the axis of the pipe 48 is installed at an eccentric position on the end edge of the rice discharge pipe 8. The cyclone pipe 48 has a vertical axis, under which the rice cooker 4 is disposed.
