<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exothermic composition excellent in moldability, shape- retainability and exothermic characteristics and also to provide an exothermic body using the composition in which the shape of the molded exothermic composition can be retained regardless of inner pressure of a container for the composition and excellent exothermic characteristics and prolonged exothermic effect can be attained. <P>SOLUTION: The exothermic composition comprises a non-viscous exothermic composition generating heat upon containing with air, which contains as the essential ingredients a water-absorbing polymer, a carbon ingredient, an exothermic accelerator, water and an exothermic substance and contains further excess water, viscosity of the exothermic composition being less than 1,000 cPs and a liquid-permeability thereof being 5 or higher. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
