<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent heat radiation from a water heat exchanger when operation is stopped to maintain high heat efficiency in a heat pump type hot water supply device. <P>SOLUTION: To a water circulation passage to circulate hot water from a lower part of a hot water storage tank 5 upward, a water heat exchanger 13 to heat-exchange with a condenser 2 of a cooling medium circuit is connected. On the downstream side of the water heat exchanger 13 in the water circulation passage, an opening/closing valve 42 that is closed when action of a heat pump is stopped is provided. When action of the heat pump is stopped, therefore, heat radiation at the water heat exchanger 13 due to reverse circulation of high-temperature water at the upper part of the hot water storage tank 5 is prevented. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
