摘要	<p>A four legged table for use as an ordinary piece of furniture has a flat top with a leg at each corner. It has a lower ledge (4) which is of metal and has a substantial thickness. The ledge carries electric resistance heaters and an electrically driven fan to give forced convective heating. At one side of it is a vertical control panel (5) which contains a socket outlet by means of which the table can be connected to the house electric wiring. The panel also has a switch which can turn on the heaters and fan or the fan only for cooling in summer and a manually adjustable thermostat for automatic control of the heating.</p>
