<p>The drying kiln for the ceramic industry has a duct (2) through which hot air is delivered to a line of drying chambers (1), driven by a fan (4) inside the duct. This air is preheated by solar radiation. Two sets of solar heater units (6, 7) one each side of a delivery channel (5) deliver the preheated air to an electric or gas heated unit (3) preceding the fan. The air is preheated to between 50 and 70 deg. C.</p> |
