The vehicle, which can be used on tractor, has rubber-tyred support wheels, and cross-guiding rollers close to the ground with a horizontal plane of rotation. The leading roller, at least, is fitted with a revolving broom, brush or similar, which keeps the rolling track for the wheels clear of snow, or other obstruction. Here a broom or brush is provided (11) which is driven from the cleaning cross roller (4a) and operates across the rolling width (13) of a twin tyre (2, 3). An additional brush may be sited near this roller, revolving in a horizontal plane with it. A compact construction provides clearing width for twin tyred wheels, as on buses rear axles.
