PURPOSE:To restrain the vibration of a change lever by extending the change rod connecting a transmission to the change lever backward of the joint of the lever to attach fixedly a weight to the extension. CONSTITUTION:The rear end of an extension rod 2 extending from an engine transmission 1 backward of a car body is journalled through a member 3 by a car body floor 4 and provided with a ball housing 5 in which is fitted a change ball 7 formed in the root of a change lever 6. On the other hand, a change rod 8 is arranged below and parallel to said rod 2, and to the rear end of the change rod 8 is welded a channel member 9. In this case, a weight 13 is secured fixedly to the rear end of the channel member 9. And the weight of the weight 13 is properly set so that a vibration knob P coincides with a joint C of said rod 8 and the lever 6. Thus, the vibration of the lever 6 can be restrained. |
