The present invention provides a method, device and system for allocating an access point (AP). The method comprises: after a cloud access controller (AC) receives an allocation request of an AP, requesting and acquiring allocation information aiming at the AP from a network management device; and sending the acquired allocation information to the AP through an allocation response. In the present invention, a management function on an AP is completed by a unified network management device, allocation information about the AP is not required to be allocated on all ACs in a cloud AC cluster, and the allocation information of the AP is just required to be uniformly allocated at the network management device and then be sent to the AC related to the AP, thereby reducing the allocation difficulty and the maintenance cost. |
