<p>PURPOSE:To eliminate the unbalance of reverse recovery voltage by connecting electrodes on the outsides of diode chips at both ends to upper and lower terminals through pressure contacts while the periphery of an intermediate connecting board is brought into pressure-contact with an auxiliary terminal. CONSTITUTION:The upper section of a vessel consisting of an upper terminal 6 and an insulator 7 is turned upside down, a belleville spring 11, a washer 10 and a connecting electrode body 9 are set up, a chip 2 is placed while downward directing a cathode, and an intermediate connecting board 4 is stacked so that an anode electrode for a chip 1 is fitted to a pawl 42. An electrode body 3 is fitted to a pawl 41 for the connecting board 4 and the chip 1 is set, a bottom 5 is placed as a screw section thereof is directed upward while holding down a stacked body, and a metallic ring 12 for the bottom 5 and a metallic ring 13 for the insulator 7 are welded. The connecting board 4 is also pressed, a periphery thereof is brought into contact with an auxiliary terminal 8, and lastly a tube section for the terminal 6 is compressed and contact-bonded and connected to the upper end of the electrode body 9. Accordingly, the unbalance of the share of backward voltage based on the difference of reverse recovery characteristics between the chips can be eliminated.</p> |
