The swing-out table (1) has a table-top (2) consisting of at least two panels (3-11) on the same plane and connected to one base. In their unused position, the panels lie side by side along one side edge (17, 18) from which they are moved into an operating position in which the panels are spaced apart (19). One or more panels are inserted into the gap. The panels are oblong, square, triangular or a section of an oval or circle. The panels are arranged symmetrically with a common c.g. (21). USE/ADVANTAGE - The swing-out table can be used as a dining table, without telescopic rails or slide pieces.
