PURPOSE:To promote the distribution of the function of each host system, and the distribution of the load, and to enlarge the possibility of the operation of a multiple host system. CONSTITUTION:This system is equipped with host systems 5-1-5-3, between-host communication equipment 2, and shared data volume 3. Each host system 5-1-5-3 is respectively equipped with between-host job managing means 6-1-6-3, and message exchanging means 7-1-7-3. Moreover, the host system 5-1 is connected through a communication line with a terminal equipment 1, and equipped with a communication control means 9, interactive processing means 8, and message scheduling means 11. The host systems 5-2 and 5-3 include local data volumes 4-1 and 4-2, and programs 10-1 and 10-2. Then, the transmission and reception of a message is operated by message exchanging means 7-1-7-3, and an interactive processing with the terminal equipment 1 is operated by the interactive processing means 8, so that the interactive processing can be operated to the processing which is being executed by the host systems which are not connected with the terminal equipment. |
