The illegal copy preventing method includes the steps of: generating power signal; sensing light which may enter when dismantling the terminal device in order to copy; cutting off the power signal applied to the power terminal of the volatile memory when light comes in, and power-switching by applying power signal generated from the power signal generating step to the power terminal of the volatile memory if light does not come in, thereby erasing the program stored in the volatile memory when dismantling releasing the terminal device in order to copy it.
