The device for preventing oil from sputtering out of the cooking pot comprises : a replaceable paper member(1); a ring shaped main body(10) formed in a size for placing on the cooking pot and having an opening(11) in center and a rim(12) integrally formed and also having a locking groove(13) and a hinge with the surface(15) partially roughened(16); a cover member(20) being connected to the main body(10) with a hinge(14) and its pin(30) and having openings(21) in middle and an intermediate iron member(22) formed for placing within the circle of the opening. The cover(20) in placement matches with the main body(10) by the mediation of the paper(1), and it has a tap(23) for lockingly matching with the hinge(14) and the groove(13) and a handle(40).
