<p>A structure for mounting a hydraulic damper to a vehicle body is provided. The damper (12) has a first end (20) and a second end (21). The vehicle includes a vehicle frame (10a) that has a first bracket (22) connected to the first end (20) and an axle (11) that has a second bracket (21) connected to the second end (21). The axle (11) is arranged to be pivotal with respect to the frame (10a). The damper (12) changes its length based on a swinging action of the axle (11). The first bracket (22) has a first support hole (22a). The second bracket (24) has a second support hole (24a). The first end (20) has a first through hole (20a) and the second end (21) has a second through hole (21a). The first end (20) and the second end (21) of the damper (12) are rotatably connected with the first bracket (22) and the second bracket (21), respectively, by a shaft (25) extending through at least one of the support holes (22a, 24a) and the associated through hole (20a, 21a) in a rotatable manner about its axis. The shaft (25) has an adjusting element (25c) for adjusting the length of the damper (12) to an optimum value based on the rotation of the shaft (25), and rotation of the shaft (25) is prohibited by a regulating structure (25d, 27a) to maintain the length of the damper (12) in the optimum value. <IMAGE></p> |
