PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power transmission device for use in two-shaft extruders that includes driven shafts whose rotational frequency is adjustable for output, for example, above 10,000 kW. SOLUTION: This power transmission device has a first driven shaft 4 driven direct via a reduction stage power transmission mechanism 1 and a second driven shaft 5 driven via the first driven shaft 4 and two distribution stage shafts 11 and 12 situated on both sides. The reduction stage power transmission device 1 is a planetary gear type, in which a sun gear is driven via a main motor, a hollow gear 27 is driven via a superposition motor, and a planetary gear carrier 25 is connected to the first driven shaft 4 of a distribution stage power transmission device 2. The main motor is driven at a constant rotational frequency, and the superposition motor is adjustable in its rotational frequency in consideration of the overall output. |
