PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To give forgery and falsification preventing effects to a valuable printed matter such as a paper money, a passport, securities, a card, a stamp and the like. SOLUTION: Many invisible fine pores 1 are formed through a base material 2 by a laser. Luminosity 3 is given to one surface of the material 2 to fill the pores 1. A light having a specific wavelength is illuminated to the luminosity 3 by an illuminator 7 to excite the luminosity 3 so that the luminosity 3 emits a light having a wavelength intrinsic to the luminosity 3. This emitted light is sensed so that a specific pattern of the pores 1 can be recognized.
