PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To set surge voltage which is applied to both ends of an insulating coupling so as to make it lower than the insulating performance of the insulating coupling for preventing the insulating coupling from a dielectric breakdown, by fitting a surge voltage restraining element on the insulating coupling of a gas piping. SOLUTION: An insulating means between a gas piping 2 and a gas piping 3 is constituted of an insulating coupling 4 clamped between an adapter 5 and an adapter 6. The adapters 5, 6 are formed so as to be larger than the insulating coupling 4, and its part is protruded farther outward than the insulating coupling 4. A surge voltage restraining element 8 is formed at an outwardly protruding part. The surge voltage restraining element 8 consists of a rod-shaped electrode 9 formed at the adapter 5 and a rod-shaped electrode 10 formed at the adapter 6 which faces the rod-shaped electrode 9. The rod-shaped electrodes 9 and 10 are made to face each other via a gap. It is thus possible to prevent the insulating coupling 4 from dielectric breakdown.
|
