SELF-LATCH SOLENOID ASSEMBLY AND CONTROL CIRCUIT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a self-latch solenoid valve assembly capable of operating at a high speed and reducing power consumption. SOLUTION: An energizing member 46 for moving a valve element and a solenoid assembly 14 are used. The solenoid assembly has a housing 48 supporting a solenoid coil 56 inside it and a fixed ferromagnetic pole member 88 provided with a through passage and a pressing pin 84 supported so as to move in the passage. A ferromagnetic latch is supported by the housing, and a permanent magnet 90 is arranged between the latch and the pole member. The permanent magnet can move toward a pole member 74 by electromagnetic flux due to a pulse current flowing in the coil 56 and drives the valve element to a predetermined position against the pressing pin. The permanent magnet can move in the direction in which it leaves the pole member and moves toward the latch 88 by electromagnetic flux due to a pulse current flowing in the coil 56 in the opposite direction. The energizing member moves the valve element to the other predetermined position because of this movement.
