Decoration mounting made of folded paper - has separate folded sections which snap together and are retained by elastic bands

A decoration mounting is provided by preformed and folded paper sections that are readily clipped together. The mounting is formed in two separate halves (1) that are held together by elastic bands (13). Each half section is triangular in cross section and is formed from two folded parts joined along the common edge (8). The bottom sections deflect at an angle initially and when pressed down snap into position under the load applied by the bands. The side sections (14) are also prefolded to provide a triangular cross section of sufficient rigidity.
