A weaving loom is provided with a selection device (18, 20) allowing the programming of the selection of the weft yarns (27) among a plurality of yarn, which ion has to be inserted in the shed by a weft insertion device. The selection device comprises a programmed control device (18) and a device (20) controlled by the device (18), to move the weft support (30), so that only the selected weft yarn (27) is brought to an effective position ready to be inserted in the shed. The selection device comprises a minicomputer (10) provided with a microprocessor (11), a read only memory, a pattern memory (13) and a controlled keyboard (14) intended for the programming and utilization of the minicomputer. The device (20) for displacing the weft support is provided with electromagnets (22) controlled by signals generated by the programmed control device, which signals control the displacement of the weft sup port (30) so as to move the weft yarns from a rest position to an effective position and vice-versa.@00 |
