Drill fitted to agricultural tractor PTO - is vertically orientated at front and is positioned horizontally and vertically by hydraulic rams

The drill can be fitted to agricultural tractors. A vertical drill (1) is mounted on an extension from a gearbox (3) driven by a cardan shaft (13) from the tractor's power take off or from a hydraulic motor. The gearbox and shaft are on a mobile base (4) joined to a baseplate (5) pivoting on the tractor (6). The pivoted stays (7,8) from deformable parallelograms when operated by a lifting ram (11) to determine the height of the drill. Another ram (12) determines the horizontal position of the drill by swivelling the baseplate.
