The invention relates to a device for monitoring the reliability of the detection unit of an apparatus for detecting metal pollutants (I) in materials passing through same, including a metal gauge (1) and a means (2) for transporting said gauge in the detection device. The transport means of the device is arranged to prevent any contact between said gauge and materials passing through the detection device. Accordingly, there is no contamination between the gauge, the materials and the environment, and there is no risk of losing the gauge among the materials. |
