PURPOSE:To execute adjustment easily and completely, by adjusting a lens softly fitted into a lens housing, to an optically correct position, and thereafter, fixing it by use of an adhesive agent. CONSTITUTION:A jig 7 is a tool for setting a lens to an optically correct position when a lens housing is fitted to a copying machine, and the relative position relation of an image face 8 of the jig to a housing supporting frame 9 and a housing fixing screw hole 10 is made so as to be all the same within a range of a prescribed allowable error as the relative position relation of an original placing plate of the copying machine to a housing fixing screw. Accordingly, a lens 1 is assembled correctly in a housing 3 so that an image of the image face 8 passes through a mirror 11 through the lens 1 correctly in the jig 7, passes through the lens 1 again and is formed on the image face 8, and thereafter, the housing 3 is fitted into the housing supporting frame 9 and is fixed by a screw 12, and thereafter, the lens 1 is softly fitted into the housing 3, a position of the lens 1 is adjusted by adjusting screws 6, 6', and thereafter, it is fixed by use of an adhesive agent. |
