PURPOSE:To use a titled body effectively as a shaft in an endoscope by combining plural pieces of unit nodes interposed with an extensible driving member consisting of a shape memory alloy in constituting said body so that the body can be smoothly inserted along a fine and curved passage. CONSTITUTION:A driving member 12 constituted of a shape memory alloy is compression molded at an ordinary temp. and is interposed between flanges 11a and 11b. The flanges 11a, 11b are bound, in one side part in the outside peripheral part, to a binding body 13 consisting of a leaf spring material. A cover 14 has elasticity and acts tensile force at all times between the outside peripheral parts of the flanges 11a and 11b. When electricity is conducted to the member 12, the member 12 is heated and moves so as to restore the memorized state of extending, by which unit nodes 10 are curved. The active body oscillates and curves to the right and left if the unit nodes 10a, 10b are set linear and the positions of the binding bodies 13a, 13b are set in the positions different by 180 deg.. |
