PURPOSE:To execute the painting-out in a closed curved surface using a pattern at a high speed by developing an image, which does not depend upon the pattern, to a frame buffer for work, synchronizing to this, and executing the developing processing of a painting-out with the pattern to a frame buffer for an output. CONSTITUTION:At a frame buffer 30 for output and a frame buffer 40 for work, the same data are developed which are usually synchronized. Here, when the painting-out of an optional closed curved line including (X, Y) coordinates is instructed from a host computer 10, a controller 20 reads the data from a buffer 40, judges whether the data are in the closed curved surface or not, and continues writing of the black data until the closed curved surface is wholly painted out. Then, while the black data are written to the buffer 40, the pattern data outputted from a pattern generating memory 5 are written even to the buffer 30. Thus, the painting-out of the pattern can be executed to the buffer 30, and to the buffer 40, the painting-out of the black data can be executed. |
