The invention relates to an arrangement and method for fabricating products from plastic, provided with an upright injection moulding apparatus and a mould which can be mounted underneath the injection moulding apparatus and defines a mould cavity into which, during operation, material can be injected by means of the injection moulding apparatus to form at least one product. The arrangement is provided with means for supporting a trough-shaped member open at the top, which can be installed in a position in which the trough-shaped member is disposed underneath the injection moulding apparatus withdrawn from the mould.
