Remote power control of LV AC two-wire connected consumer loads with receiver device

A low voltage a.c. power supply has a mains transformer (1) coupled to a pair of power lines (2,3) that have a number of receiver modules (8-11) connected in parallel and each having an indicator (4-7). Also connected into the circuit is a controller (12) that responds to commands from a remote infra red hand held device (13). The controller is based around a programmed microcontroller that responds to the pulse code modulated command data to activate or deactivate the receivers.
