An apparatus to generating pseudorandom noise sequence of 2n length includes a PN generating member (100) for generating a PN sequence by performing shift operation according to a sequence enable signal (SEQ_EN) after operating by being synchronized with a system clock signal (SYS_CLK) and receiving an initial LSSR state input (LSSR_LOAD_STATE) according to a load enable signal (LOAD_EN), a comparator (200) for comparing an output (LSSR_STATE) from the PN generating member with another output as a comparaing value (COMP_OUT), a masking member (300) for masking the output (LSSR_STATE) from the PN generating member and a PN masking data (PNMASK) to output, a PN mask converting member(400) for converting the initial PN mask value to the PN mask data (PNMASK) corresponding to a predetermined offset value, and a comparision value converting member (500) for converting the initial comparison value of N bit to a value (COMP_OUT) corresponding to the PN mask data (PNMASK), wherein comparison values are generated corresponding to PN mask values by means of a comparison value converter so that any additional circuits for inserting additional bit to the PN sequence outputs, and new mask values and comparison values corresponding to the mask values may be generated from offset shifting values to shift the PN sequence by using the current PN mask value so that desired PN sequence may be obtained independent from the LSSR state.
