摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To cool and retain cold heat efficiently utilizing Peltier effect by a method wherein the outer surface of a can, bottle or the like is contacted with the inner wall surface of a wall for cooling and a thermoelectric element is excited to cool the same while the same is taken out after cooling by opening the wall for cooling about a hinge. SOLUTION: A thermoelectric element 10 is constituted by a method wherein a plurality of modules 15, obtained by connecting a N-type semiconductor element 11 and a P-type semiconductor 12 in series ofπ-type through electrode bodies 13, 14, are connected electrically and lead wires 16, 18 are soldered to the modules 15 of both ends through solder 19 respectively while the ceramics of alumina, silicon nitride or the like, which is a material consisting of the conductive body of heat and provided with electric insulating performance, or insulating materials 20, 21 of silicone rubber and the like, which are insulating materials having flexibility and elasticity, are connected in the direction of an arrow sign A in a diagram so as to be abutted against each other. When electric current is conducted to flow through them, heat is absorbed in the side of the electrode body 13 of the thermoelectric element 10, connected in series ofπ-type, while heat is generated in the side of the electrode body 14.
