<p>The joint is for use between two tubular components. It is esp. for a projector, and a busbar adaptor. It has a cone coupling member (3) fixed and particularly screwed to the adaptor (2) and engaging in a mating socket (4) in the supporting tube (1), while a clamping spring (6) acts between member and tube in the axial direction. The socket can be formed in a component (5) of pressure-diecast zinc which also tapers on the outside, this being fixed in a mating portion in the tube end. USE/ADVANTAGE - Simple, reliable swivel joint allows rotation with no free movement.</p> |
