PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To indicate whether a traffic jam is becoming longer or shorter. SOLUTION: Locations where a traffic jam occurs are marked by an arrow on a screen map. By gradually making the latter half of the arrow thicker, it is indicated that the traffic jam is becoming longer, while by gradually making the latter half of the arrow thinner, it is indicated that the traffic jam tends to become shorter. Also, a route can be suitably searched, taking into consideration the tendency in the traffic jam. |
