The device for separating a paper or foil web from a roll has a support cutting edge(23) connected to a support plate(13) in such a way that the cutting channel(27) lies at least approximately in the plane of the support plate. The cutting disc(8) is movable on the boundary edge(35) of an opening in the cover(5) of the housing within which are located the paper of film rolls. The support plate is inclined at an angle forwards and forms the guide plane for the roll. |
