PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To fix an installed object simply and surely. SOLUTION: A metal fitting for fixing an installed object 3 such as an electronic equipment is composed of a base part 1 contacting the floor face for securing safe seating and support parts 2 standing upside down on the top face of the base part 1 for supporting the installed object. A slit is provided at each support part for engaging with a locking member 4 equipped at a bottom plate of the object and for holding the object floating in the engaged state, and the locking member 4 of the object 3 is put in the support part 2 to fix the object 3 on the floor.
