<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing ink composition capable of curing an ink film by irradiation of hot air or heat quantity of≥0.1 second so as to enhance a paper surface temperature≥50°C when paper is printed and having excellent abrasion resistance, gloss, printability and aging stability as ink. <P>SOLUTION: This printing ink composition comprises a colorant, a binder resin of a weight average molecular weight of 10,000-200,000, a vegetable oil and/or a fatty acid ester, a (meth)acrylic ester and a heat polymerization initiator. The binder resin contains a rosin alkyd resin obtained by modifying a rosin with an unsaturated carboxylic acid or its anhydride and/or a rosin modified phenolic resin synthesized from an alkyl phenol having a 1-7C alkyl group, and has a normal heptane volume (ml) of 1-40 ml required for a toluene solution, which contains the resin of 1g in toluene of 9g, to be cloudy when normal heptane is dropped in the solution under 25°C (normal heptane tolerance). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
