<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reproduction apparatus capable of displaying an image of a right direction to a user even if the display is viewed in various postures. <P>SOLUTION: The reproduction apparatus is provided with; an image display means (2) for displaying the image on a display screen; an photographing means (3) for photographing the user of the reproduction apparatus; a direction detecting means (11) which detects, from a face image of the user who is photographed with the photographing means, a horizontal direction of the user which is a direction of a straight line connecting both eyes of the user's face or a face top direction; a tilt calculation means (12) for calculating a rotation angle necessary to identify the horizontal direction of the user's face detected by the direction detecting means (11) to the horizontal direction of the display screen of the reproduction apparatus; and an image rotation means (18) for tilting the image to be displayed in the display screen based on the rotation angle calculated by the tilt calculation means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
