PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively suppress buckling and cord breakage of a steel-made reinforcement cord 54 buried in a reinforcement layer 52.SOLUTION: As inclination angles A of a reinforcement cord 54 relative to a tire equator S are set within ranges of 40-90 degrees and compression rigidity F per 50 mm width of the reinforcement layer 52 in a direction parallel to the reinforcement cord 54 is set to 1000 N or more, the reinforcement layer 52 (a reinforcement ply 53) is affected by deformation of a belt layer 24 and diameter growth of a tread part 15 to become narrower in a width direction. This allows the reinforcement cord 54 to effectively withstand compression force even if the compression force is applied to the reinforcement cord 54, so that a situation that the reinforcement cord 54 buckles and finally a cord breaks can be effectively suppressed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
