The invention refers to a device for manufacturing carpets of fireproof ceramic fibres. The device is comprised of a furnace (1), a measuring device (7), a cylindrical nozzle (4), and a fibre-formation chamber (12) with an output conveyor (14), an auxiliary chamber (18) with a compression device (20), and a carpet-cutting mechanism (21). A conical nozzle (9) is arranged in the entrance to the fibre formation chamber (12) coaxial to the cylindrical nozzle (4). The conical nozzle (9) is equipped with a cylindrical pipe (11) which is mounted to enable axial motion. A parabolic plate is arranged inside of the fibre formation chamber (12). The parabolic plate ensures uniform thickness of the fibre coating along the entire width of the carpet. The plate is arranged in such a manner that one of its parabolic edges is turned toward the ceramic fibres that leave the cylindrical pipe (11). According to the invention, the device can be used for manufacturing of finely fibred fireproof material.<IMAGE> |
