<p>This mechanised device makes it possible to unload a stacking horse (4) on which hides (5) are piled, while flattening these hides. A grasping arm (18) with a deformable part (19) capable of moving horizontally and vertically is provided for taking off a hide (5) on the horse (4) and for bringing it onto a flattening table (8) comprising a set of motor-driven conveying members (13). At one end of the table (8) the set of conveying members (13) has an inverted "U" profile similar to that of the horse (4), while at the other end of this table (8) this set (13) has a flat profile. The device also applies, conversely, to the loading onto a stacking horse of hides which are initially laid flat. <IMAGE></p> |
