摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recovering method of chromium oxide in decarburized slag, with which the chromium oxide in the decarburized slag or the chromium oxide in dust added in the decarburized slag is efficiently recovered into molten iron. SOLUTION: This method for recovering the chromium oxide in the decarburized slag 8 into the molten iron 11, is executed by using a refining furnace 1, blowing oxygen into the molten iron 6 containing the chromium to execute the decarburized refining, tapping molten steel 7 containing the chromium while leaving the decarburized slag 8 into the refining furnace 1 after reducing the chromium oxide contained in the decarburized slag 8 produced with the decarburized refining, adding molten iron 11 and carbonaceous material into the refining furnace 1 and blowing the oxygen to execute the re-reduction. In such a case, the molten iron 11 saturated with carbon is used and the decarburized slag weight is made to 300-500 kg/ton of molten iron and the ratio of adding weight of the carbonaceous material to the decarburized slag weight is adjusted to 0.2-0.5 and the temp. of the molten iron 11 at the time when the re-reducing refining is completed, is made to 1,450-1,650 deg.C.
