PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a trichogenous agent which exhibits a clear trichogenous effect and is safe. SOLUTION: This trichogenous agent containing one or more ingredients selected from water-soluble polymers and one or more ingredients selected from amine oxides as main ingredients is provided. The activity of the trichogenous agent can more much enhanced by adding one or more ingredients selected from saccharides. The employment of the trichogenous agent gives good results to male alopecia.
