PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically generate an optimum indexing angle of a rotary feed shaft and a tool route suitable therefor in an NC machine tool having three linear feed spindles perpendicular to each other and at least one rotary feed spindle. SOLUTION: In this NC machine tool, an indexing angle case for the rotary feed shaft is prepared on the basis of machining shape information 12, material information 14, tool information 16 and machine information 18, and machining by the indexing angle case is digitized to estimate machining economic efficiency. Thereby, the optimum indexing angle is calculated, and a work is machined by maximum simultaneous three-spindle linear feed spindle control on the basis of the indexing angle.
